Early Guidance
For students and families thinking ahead to college early on in high school there are great advantages to securing an advisor in freshman or sophomore year. We focus on course selection, test planning, and career development opportunities to make the most of the summers ahead. Developing a rapport with an advisor makes the whole process more meaningful. We are currently accepting Class of 2025 students. Class of 2026 and 2027 can book a consultation to pursue hourly advising.
Comprehensive Package
Having guidance through the entire application process, especially from an early vantage point during a student’s junior year, has many benefits. The early start allows for career exploration, discussions about high school class choices, college majors, and best fit. We look at best fit from an academic, financial and social perspective. This all leads to the development of a list of schools early enough to act on so the application season isn’t rushed and families can visit schools. Then, we create a calendar that begins essay development and application processes early enough to help keep stress at a minimum during senior year.
Hourly Support
Some students need specific help with one part of the process. In certain cases, hourly support makes sense for tasks such as transfer advice, essay-only, college list reviews, 9th and 10th-grade academic planning, and application questions for those who DIY. Three-hour pre-paid packages are our minimum.
Coffee Talk Zoom
Would a casual conversation about the Ins and Outs of the college application process over coffee or during happy hour help you and/or a group of friends? We offer a personalized 1-hour Zoom call at your convenience. We will provide a brief presentation suited to your group of parents or students, then spend the second half answering questions. Set up a consultation, tell us what topics you want to cover and we’ll set a time/date.
